AlDub's Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza recently shared their first kiss on national television on Saturday afternoon.
During one segment of the hit noontime show "Eat Bulaga!" hosts Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto kissed each other.
Delighted fans and co-host Allan K then urged Mendoza and Richards to kiss each other as well.
However, since AlDub is known for being a wholesome tandem, Richards simply leaned forward to kiss Mendoza on the cheeks, according to PEP.ph.
Meanwhile, last Saturday's episode made use of the hashtag #AlDubPreWedding. The episode centered on Yaya Dub and Alden talking about their wedding plans, as well as when they think it will be best to tie the knot.
Several photos from the set of "Eat Bulaga!" were also released online.
Following their special wedding-inspired dance number to the tune of Bruno Mars' "Marry You," Richards and Mendoza also starred in their daily Kalyeserye episode.
On Saturday, the topic was centered on their wedding plans, and the onscreen couple was asked by the Tres Lolas on what they want to happen.
While on their way to the mall, Divina asked her grandmother as to whether or not getting married is a truly joyous and momentous occasion.
Richards joined in and said that a couple's wedding day is probably one of the happiest days of their lives.
The couple was then asked by the grandmother as to when they want to tie the knot. Richards said that they want to do it as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, Divina didn't seem like she was open to the idea so she nudged Richards in the elbow.
At this point, Richards said that he was just joking.
The grandmother then asked on who they want to ask as sponsors to their wedding, and Divina said that she wants to ask Tito and Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon and even Mr. Tuviera.
Someone then quipped, "Why don't you just join them?" in reference to Sotto and Luna's upcoming wedding.
Richards was once again asked when he wants to get married, and he answered that he wants to walk down the aisle when he's already 29. At the moment, Richards is only 24.
"Eat Bulaga!" airs Mondays to Saturdays on GMA-7.
