Maroo Entertainment is ready to debut its new girl group called Bonus Baby, which will feature two former members of the now defunct female ensemble myB. Maroo Entertainment had been teasing that they would come out with a new girl group consisting of six members.

The group is dubbed as the "younger sister group" of label mates Ha Seok Jin and Kim Jong Kook, Soompi reported. The group has finished recording songs for their debut album. They have also filmed a music video. Furthermore, former myB members Moonhee and Hayoo are now part of Bonus Baby.

Aside from the name of the group, Maroo Entertainment had also released that group's official logo. The logo is a green egg-like shape with a footprint in the middle that reads Bonus Baby.

"We wanted the group to send a positive and bright message in these troubled times. We hope that Bonus Baby will help people find happiness in their hearts," Maroo Entertainment said in a statement.

It was announced earlier this week that myB had officially disbanded, allkpop reported. While Moonhe and Hayoon have remained in Maroo Entertainment, the other members have departed from the agency.

MyB was a six-member group consisting of Jookyung, Moonhee, U Jung, Heejoo and G-Won. Hayoon was later added to the group as its sixth member. They made their officially debut with the album "My Oh My," which was released on Aug. 25, 2015. They had their first live performance as a group on SBS MTV's "The Show."

Maroo Entertainment did not give a reason for the girl group's disbandment. However, ever since their debut, the group didn't have that much activities as compared to other rookie groups.

MyB join the string of idol groups that officially disbanded this year, which includes M.O.A, Kara, Speed, Rainbow, 2NE1 and 4Minute
