On Dec. 17, Han Hye Jin has left the country to reunite with her husband, Ki Sung Yong, in Wales, and fans are wondering whether the actress will return to continue her talk show "My Ugly Duckling."
According to Allkpop, Han's label revealed the actress has filmed several episodes for the SBS talk show. However, the agency added they are still unsure of the network's plan for Han and "My Ugly Duckling."
"She's filmed enough to last the show until January, so please watch over her. As for after that, we'll be talking with SBS on what to do," the label said.
Further reports claimed Han wanted to spend time with her family while in the country. Her husband, Ki, is a professional football player who currently represents Swansea City.
Han and Ki confirmed dating rumors back in March 2013 and announced their engagement in the same year. On top of that, the couple also said their vows at the Intercontinental Hotel Seoul on July 1, 2013.
After two years, Han and Ki were blessed with a baby girl in 2015. The actress reportedly gave birth in a hospital in South Korea.
Previously, Han was asked if she will continue her career in South Korea and answered, "Until the end of July, I will continue with filming for my movie "When a Man Loves" and recording "Healing Camp." After that, I will depart to accompany my husband," as cited by Wales Online.
The couple is known as the Posh and Becks of South Korea. Han and Ki's paths crossed during a charity football match held in Vietnam.
On the other hand, Han earned the most-watched minute on "My Ugly Duckling." The Nov. 25 episode of the talk show earned a viewership rating of 12 percent, securing the top spot for 13 successive weeks.
