On Dec. 18, Jinyoung took to Naver's V Live to talk about his experience in historical drama "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds."
The B1A4 member reminisced how he used to be afraid of wearing a hanbok for the drama series. However, Jinyoung revealed his co-members were a big help in overcoming those fears along the process of filming "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds," Soompi cited.
"To be honest, I was worried about wearing hanbok and appearing in a historical drama. However, I think it went well because the other members [of B1A4] gave me words of encouragement, the PD and screenwriters helped me out a lot, and we had lots of script read-throughs," Jinyoung told his fans.
He went on, "The weather was at its hottest, so it wasn't easy filming the drama wearing hanbok. We were usually busy fighting off the heat."
Aside from his commendable acting, Jinyoung is also best known for producing music. In fact, he wrote B1A4's new song "A Lie," which he said was inspired by his experience, Allkpop noted.
The idol said he met someone during his high school days whom he could not forget. "There was someone I liked during high school. In the lyrics, there's a part that goes, "Meet someone good," which is a lie," Jinyoung revealed.
Jinyoung added, "In your heart, you don't really mean it. I think about her from time to time, but I've let her go since it's been about 10 years."
The B1A4 member admitted most of his compositions are based on real life experiences. He added the song "Crushing On You Again" was inspired by his dating experience when he was still younger.
If not his own life experiences, Jinyoung sometimes writes based on a friend's story, revealing that "In Dreams" was inspired by a friend's experiences. "It's an extremely sad song because it yearns for a lover who left the world. If you listen carefully, in the last part, there's a woman's voice," he said.
