Ben Affleck recently talked about his solo Batman movie and fans couldn't wait. However, the actor said he's not going to write or direct anything that is not good enough to be made. He assured fans that he's doing everything in his power to make his Batman the best movie ever made.
In an interview, Affleck said, "I'm definitely going to make sure I have something that is special---there's not enough money in the world to make a mediocre version of Batman worth it." The movie will begin production in Spring of 2017 and it's going to be filled with iconic moments and performances. That's why the actor turned director said anything less than that would be a disservice to the hero that fans have loved over the years.
Ben Affleck's acting and directing prowess will be put to the test in his first Batman solo movie. While playing the iconic hero initially received backlash from critics and fans, Affleck put them to rest because he made such a spectacular performance of the role. That is why his latest statements make fans want to believe him.
Never had there been a Batman movie as good as Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. Now that those days were over, it's time for Ben Affleck to make his Batman the most favourite billionaire-turned-superhero of all time. And although anything related to the movie has been kept under wraps, it promises to be an awesome DC adventure that fans will want to see over and over again, Cinema Blend reported.
In the new Batman movie, Joe Manganiello will play the supervillain Deathstroke. This is also a sign that the film will delve on the lore of the superhero in unprecedented ways. If Affleck will not make his Batman film an apocalyptic film brought about by a hole in the sky, then fans will potentially have a definitive Batman story to pay for.
Word has it that the "Justice League" sequel has been pushed farther back to accommodate this film but Affleck always said he didn't want to rush things. He always wanted to keep the hype and expectation at the minimum, Slash Film reported. These days however, the actor-turned-director says they're finishing up the script and he's very excited.
Batman solo movie will be released in 2018. Some have speculated that it will take the original release slot of "Aquaman", which the movie has vacated and moved to October 5, 2018. If it's true, then Batman might be i the cinemas on July 27, 2018.
