Friday night will be a busy night for NBA fans as the league is scheduled to have 14 games. While the power players in the league are expected to provide the needed numbers for fantasy players, there are some serious sleepers to consider drafting.
Jahlil Okafor - Philadelphia 76ers
Yes, Jahlil Okafor could be considered one of the better big man in the league but his numbers have dipped especially with the arrival of Joel Embiid. He's only averaging 11.3PPG and 5RPG - a big dip considering he was 15.6PPG and 6.4RPG last season according to his stats on ESPN.
But he could be in for a big night against the Suns since their team mostly focuses on backcourt. It's also an interesting match-up because each team has a totally different attacking options.
Justise Winslow - Miami Heat
Miami Heat is in for a tough match this Friday as they play a determined New Orleans Pelicans in their home court. Understandably, the Pelicans will do everything they can to win especially when they understand the home stretch's importance to help them push in the series according to Yahoo Sports.
But New Orleans relies a bit much on Anthony Davis - which makes it easier for the Heat since Whiteside could match him up physically. This opens to a lot of opportunities for other players to shine which includes Justise Winslow.
Jordan Clarkson - Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers will face the resurging Orlando Magic in their home and the odds are stacked against them. But for fantasy players looking for some sleeper performances this Friday, Clarkson could be best bet right now. He's currently averaging 14.8 PPG and often higher when faced with a challenge - and Magic could push him to put up good numbers for the win.
Clarkson could be a bit of a gamble because he could be underproductive in a bad night. But he could be reliable guard to help push the team especially when they see a challenge they can overcome.
