The 2017 Consumer Electronic Show is expected to be filled with the new breakthrough that would make life easier and more enjoyable ranging from chips for devices and handsets to electronic gadgets for the home.
And as usual, before a product gets introduced, leaks come first. Qualcomm's approaching Snapdragon 835 processor will be the chip company's forerunner processor that will also be the initial ARM processor which has the ability to run full Windows 10. Evan Blass (@evleaks) had leaked the official press release for the latest Snapdragon chip.
According to MSPower User, the leaked press release suggests that the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 exhibits the Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU, Qualcomm Kryo 280 CPU (quad-core), and Qualcomm Hexagon DSP to carry out multiple tasks at hand. With all the specs being integrated together, there will be a boost of 27% in performance compared to the former generation.
Additionally, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 use up 40% less power compared to the previous generation. Its Quick Charge 4 supplies five hours of battery life with just a five-minute charging. The chip will have significant enhancements for the graphics execution and VR.
Qualcomm stated that the Snapdragon 835 consists of "game-changing" improvements to precise audio, spontaneous interactions, and bright visuals. The processor also provides 3D graphic delivery which is 25% faster and creates 60X display colors compared to the Snapdragon 820.
As added by The Next Web, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor is also augmented for enhanced 4K video equilibrium and auto-focus for images along with the better delivery of pictures that are more accurate, quieter, and consists of a more developed dynamic range.
The processor is also packed with a new Snapdragon X16 LTE modem that makes it possible to download ten-fold faster than the first-generation 4G LTE devices. With the chip smaller in size, manufacturers can fit in bigger sizes but slimmer batteries.
As of the moment, there has been no news or leaks which are the lucky phones that will house the powerful new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. All expectations and speculations will be answered during the 2017 Consumer Electronic Show that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 5 to 8 2016.
