This might contain a little bit of SPOILERS for those who hadn't seen "Doctor Strange". Anyway, once we saw that mid-credits scene where Benedict Cumberbatch's magic-wielding character sat down with the Asgardian god of thunder played by Chris Hemsworth, we're sure that the Sorcerer Supreme would showing himself in the upcoming movie by director Taika Waititi, "Thor: Ragnarok." Now the question is, how much screen time would Doctor Strange have in the film about Thor and his adventures?

It was actually confirmed by Disney's fan club site D23 that Cumberbatch would appearing in Waititi's upcoming film, according to an article that features Disney-related things to look forward to in 2017. A paragraph about "Thor: Ragnarok" briefly mentions Benedict Cumberbatch's role. While it may not be exactly Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's words, this is what the article said:

"If you need even more intergalactic, world-saving action, Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new."

Now basing it on what the mid-credits scene has shown, Thor Odinson was having a discussion with Doctor Strange over the events that has happened in the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York. His brother, Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston), was somehow apprehended (not shown). Now, basing on what had transpired in the previous film, "Thor: Dark World," Odin (Athony Hopkins) has somehow vanished and Thor dragged his brother Loki to Earth to search for him. Doctor Strange also confirmed with Thor that removing Loki from Earth might increase the chance of finding Odin, which the god of thunder agreed to.

Just like how Ant-Man and Spider-Man made their appearance in "Captain America: Civil War," "Thor: Ragnarok" might have a similar treatment when it comes to Doctor Strange's character. With Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) also in the scene, this would prove to be an exciting film to look forward to.
