Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" teases the rising conflict between the team and the rise of Life Model Decoys (LMDs) in a new poster. The episode titles for the rest of Season 4 has also been revealed.
The first half of "AoS" Season 4 focused on introducing the mystical side of the MCU with the introduction of Ghost Rider (Gabrielle Luna) while the concept of LMDs remained hidden for quite a while. That is about to change. ABC has released a new poster teasing that that next major comic book concept that the show will explore soon will involve the latter, Comic Book Movie reported.
The poster features Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) with emphasis on "LMD." Before "S.H.I.E.L.D" went on a hiatus, it has been revealed that the Melinda May celebrating with the team is in fact, an LMD created by Aida. The real Melinda May is actually wounded and is probably stuck in a dangerous situation.
Interestingly, the poster also says "Strange Tales" on the top. "Strange Tales" is a reference to the comic book series of the same name that introduced "Doctor Strange." For the uninitiated, it is also the first comic book series to introduce the concept of LMDs to the Marvel universe. Specifically in "Strange Tales" #135, where Nick Fury was brought to the modern times.
Elsewhere, it has been confirmed that Gabriel Luna will be back to reprise his role and that Director Mace (Jason O'Mara) may have a bigger role in the latter half of the Season with episodes called "The Man Behind The Shield" and "Patriot." Other reports went to announce the titles of the succeeding episodes as "Wake Up," "Hot Potato Soup," "Boom," Heroic Hollywood reported.
"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" will return on January 10 with an episode called "Broken Promises." Watch the video below for more information about LMDs:
