Officially announced last September 2016, the Lenovo P2 will be soon available in India. The news was revealed by Lenovo India through Twitter.
On Jan. 2, the company started teasing the launch of Lenovo P2 which features a 5,100mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset and features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, GSM Arena reported.
Users can choose between 3GB or 4GB RAM, with a storage of 32GB which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. In terms of its camera, the P2 bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera.
After the smartphone's release back in 2016, the Lenovo P2 is already available in several regions globally including China, where only 4GB LPDDR4 RAM variant with 64GB of inbuilt storage has gone up for sale. Lenovo P2's price in China is CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,500), however, we can expect the smartphone's price to be cheaper in India due to its differences as mentioned above, according to Gadget360.
Lenovo P2 features a dual-SIM function and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, and FM radio.
Adding to its amazing feature is its One-key power saver, which saves battery life with just a flip of a switch. Users just need to slide down the exterior button to power down the device instantly.
When it comes to design, Lenovo P2 features an ergonomic curved back design with a full-metal unibody and rounded corners. Users can choose champagne gold or graphite gray color variants.
It is worth noting that Lenovo P2 launched in Europe with a price tag of €249 ($260 USD) or €299 ($313 USD). However, price of the said handset on India is yet to be revealed.
