KPop band Rainbow has finally confirmed their return and revealed when fans can expect to see them again. In the meantime, DSP Media, band's entertainment company, has already begun teasing the band's title track.
According to Soompi, a source has revealed that the seven-member girl band is giving the "final touches" to their upcoming album. Officially, the band will make a comeback on Feb. 15.
Rainbow will mark the comeback with a mini-album, for which the members together worked on the concept and its title track. Not many details about the album are available. Fans will have to wait until later this month to find out more about the Kpop album.
However, the report notes that it features a song written by one of the band members Hyunyoung. The girl group will also be promoting their comeback project enthusiastically.
In the meantime, All K Pop is reporting that DSP Media has thrown a puzzle at Rainbow fans. The puzzle urges fans to guess the name of the title track of the upcoming album. The riddle comes with some hints. The hint words are, "lips, kiss, chu."
Fans can take part in the quiz and can post their answers on DSP Media's official Twitter account. The media company also made the big announcement and revealed the release date of Rainbow's fourth mini album in the post. The album will be released on Feb. 15 worldwide.
Rainbow was introduced in 2009 as a seven member girl band consisting of Hyunyoung, Jaekyung, Woori, Jisoo, Noeul, Seungah, and Yoonhye. With their debut EP "Gossip Girl," Rainbow made their first stage appearance on MBC's "Show! Music Core."
In 2011, Rainbow released their second album titled "So Girls," followed by "Innocent." In 2013, the band launched its studio album "Rainbow Syndrome Part 1 and Part 2: Sunshine." The band also gained popularity in Japanese music industry with their album "Over the Rainbow." A part of the group has also performed as a trio named "Rainbow Pixie" consisting Seungah, Jisook and Hyunyoung.
