Oklahoma City finally snapped a three-game losing streak as they routed the Denver Nuggets, 121-106, at their home court of Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday night to finally earn their first win of the New Year, as per Fansided.
Russell Westbrook recorded his 17th triple-double of the season, the best in the NBA right now, with 32 points, 17 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead head coach Billy Donovan's side. Westbrook had his three-point shooting game going during the match as he shot 7-for-12 from beyond the arc.
Three other starters scored in double figures, namely Steven Adams, Victor Oladipo, and Andre Roberson, who netted 16, 15, and 13 points respectively. Adams also had six rebounds, two assists, and four blocks while Roberson had eight boards. Oladipo chipped in three rebounds, three assists, and two steals as well.
Coming off the bench, Enes Kanter contributed 14 points and six rebounds in 21 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are on a roll right now, winning three consecutive games and winning five of their last seven.
Chicago is coming off a 123-118 overtime win over East contenders Toronto Raptors also at the United Center last Saturday, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Jimmy Butler erupted for 42 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals to spearhead the attack of head coach Fred Hoiberg's team. He was backed up by 20 points, four boards, and seven assists from three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade.
Off the bench, Doug McDermott netted 17 points with 10 rebounds while stretch four Nikola Mirotic fired 12 points and grabbed nine boards to stabilize the second unit.
The Bulls had to overcome a 19-point deficit during regulation time to pull off the victory in the extra period.

The Thunder is 8-10 when playing away from their home court while the Bulls are 12-7 at the United Center this season. A close win for Chicago is predicted as momentum is clearly on their side.
