BIGBANG's final show in Seoul last Jan. 8 was filled with mixed emotions as the members bid their farewell to T.O.P ahead of his enlistment next month.
Korea Times reported more than 64,000 concertgoers came to witness the two-day concert of BIGBANG at the Gocheok Sky Dome. On the second day of their Seoul concert, T.O.P thanked the fans for their support and promised to improve while in the military.
"BIGBANG members and I came this far with each other since we were 19 years old. Honestly, I was afraid of moving to a new environment before where it's a totally new place to me, but now I feel comfortable," T.O.P said during the concert.
The BIGBANG member continued, "I have exactly a month left before I join up, and everybody has to go. I am just thankful that I am able to round off my work here for a while and I thank you all for your support and love."
On the other hand, G-Dragon told the fans that they will continue with their promotional activities as BIGBANG while T.O.P is serving his military duties. The leader promised they will do their best to fill the spot of the co-member.
"We will strive to fill T.O.P's spot by releasing albums as a 4-member act as well as giving solo performances," G-Dragon added.
Meanwhile, several YG artists were spotted at BIGBANG's Seoul concert last Saturday and Sunday. According to Soompi, some of the idols who were there to support BIGBANG include Jinusean's Sean and Jinu together with Yang Hyun Suk.
Also in attendance were the WINNER members who had the chance to take a selca with BIGBANG at the back stage. Kang Seung Yoon posted, "I've succeeded as a fan... Now that I think about it, this is the first picture I've taken solely with our members and BIGBANG."
