Recent reports regarding the "Rocket League" game centers on the latest 1.27 update that incorporates a new Utopia Coliseum. There are inclinations arising that the game's update is not highly regarded by the gamers.

Although the game has maintained resiliency and stability despite the competitions, some are still expecting great things for the game and from its developers as well. In a report from Segment Next, the Rocket League update 1.27 was released by Psyonix, with different sizes based on the version of the game and the PS4 version only weighs 291MB, while the PC and Xbox One version are 1.1 GB and 1.7 GB.

This new update also features a new package that could fix the bugs while playing the game. With the Utopia Coliseum on board, it is anticipated to improve gameplay. Besides "Rocket League" update 1.27, this game showed up as a very successful one, being the most sold on PS Store both in North America and Europe, a very good achievement for Psyonix as well, reports the same post.

Moreover, there are some inclinations that the company might integrate the usage of the Nintendo Switch platform to gain more players in the latter days. Meanwhile, Forbes relayed that "Rocket League" is not confined to its release and the weeks after because it remained popular in both competitive and casual circles.

According to Dave Hagewood, the Psyonix founder and president, "We came out with a premium price but we keep supporting the game as if it's a live product. And that's working for us because of the DLC we do, that sort of creates the need to make DLC that's more than just 'Oh here you can put a special item on your car.' We're actually trying to add substantially new gameplay."
