South Korean rookie group Black Pink’s latest Instagram post has recently been a topic among their followers online. According to some of their supporters, the shared photo might suggest the official fandom name of the band.
Uploaded on January 15, the captionless image, which has earned over 300,000 likes and thousands of comments, contained the text “BLINK” with the logo style of the group, All KPop reported. Due to this, some fans guessed that the word might be a shortcut of the band’s name (BL from Black and INK from Pink). In fact, some have already labeled themselves as BLINKS.
“All fandom names sound awkward and weird at first but we will all use to it #BLINKS! Let us just use this to unite as a whole fandom and not divide our self up. Let's give in Time. Fighting!” one fan commented.
Meanwhile, group members Jisoo and Rosé has recently appeared on the January 11 installment of “Radio Star” aired on MBC. During the show, the two stars performed Justin Bieber’s hit song “Love Yourself” and has likewise talked about the restrictions stated on their contract under YG Entertainment.
“I wasn’t allowed to get a driver’s license. However, exceptions can be made if you discuss it with the company. The restrictions are just there to tell you not to do any of those things secretly,” shared Rosé as quoted by Soompi.
Jisoo, on the other hand, revealed how the label separates their male and female trainees. One example of this is their eating time wherein the boys get to eat their meal first at 6’oclock followed by the girls in the next hour.
Black Pink made their debut in the industry on August 8 last year. It is composed of four members namely Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
