The Houston Rockets (32-11) will visit the Miami Heat (11-30) at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Jan. 17, Tuesday in a 2016-2017 NBA regular season match.

Houston is having an impressive season so far as the team is settled in the third spot of the stacked Western Conference at the moment. They are only a half-game behind second-place team San Antonio Spurs and four games below conference leaders Golden State Warriors.

The Rockets were able to bounce back from a two-game losing slide with a 137-112 rout over cellar-dwellers Brooklyn Nets on the road at the Barclays Center last Sunday, as per NBC New York.

James Harden got his 12th triple-double of the season with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead head coach Mike D'Antoni's squad during the match. Trevor Ariza had 23 points along with eight boards, two assists, and two steals while other starters Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell netted 16 points apiece.

Ryan Anderson rounded up the double-digit scoring of the entire Rockets starting five with 12 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Eric Gordon top-scored coming off the bench with 24 points on 9-for-14 shooting with three rebounds and three assists.

Meanwhile, the Heat continues to struggle this season as the team is on a four-game losing streak. Miami has lost 10 of its last 11 assignment to drop to the second from the last place in the East, two-and-a-half games above the Nets.

The Heat is coming off a 116-108 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks last Friday on the road at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, USA Today reported.

Team leaders Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside scored 19 points each. Dragic also had three rebounds, three assists, and two blocks while Whiteside contributed nine boards, two assists, and one steal as well.

Starters Luke Babbitt and Dion Waiters chipped in 16 and 13 points respectively while Tyler Johnson and James Johnson netted 14 and 10 points coming off the bench.

Prediction 

The Rockets are dangerous on the road with a 16-7 slate so far this season away from Toyota Center while the Heat is struggling at home with a 5-13 record. Houston is a big favorite to win this game.
