‘Madame Antoine’: K-pop group 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon stars with Sung Joon, Han Ye-seul

Jeong Jinwoon, who is professionally known as Jinwoon, joined the K-pop male group 2AM in 2008 and made his debut as an actor in 2012 in the KBS2 drama series "Dream High 2." Currently, he stars in the JTBC drama series "Madame Antoine" opposite Sung Joon and Han Ye-seul.

"Madame Antoine" serves as the third South Korean drama series Jinwoon starred in. after "Dream High 2," he played Han Yeo-reum in the 2014 tvN drama series "Marriage, Not Dating" although he also made cameo appearances in "Dream High" in 2011 and another KBS2 drama series titled "Family" in 2013.

Aside from playing Choi Seung Chan in "Madame Antoine," Jinwoon is also set to serve as one of the emcees of a new variety show titled "Muscle Queen" along with singer Insooni, according to KBS World Radio. The variety show will follow South Korean artists being mentored by experts on health and fitness.

The lead roles in "Madame Antoine" are played by Sung and Han. Sung plays a very attractive and charismatic psychotherapist named Choi Soo-hyun, who is also dubbed the Soul Doctor of Hollywood stars.

While he is able to melt people's hearts, Sung's character is a cold analyst who digs through the inferiority and pain of others. In a psychological test project he conducted, a fortune-teller named Go Hye-rim (Han) but goes by the name Madame Antoine took part.

The psychotherapist goal in the psychological test project is to prove that love is not a thing. Coincidentally, his psychological treatment center is named Madame Antoine.

"Madame Antoine" premiered on JTBC on Jan. 22. It is a collaborative project of "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" director Kim Yoon-chul and "Beethoven Virus" writer Hong Jin-ah.

Before "Madame Antoine," Han starred in nine South Korean drama series, the first of which is "Nonstop 4." She also starred in three films, namely "Miss Gold Digger," "Monsters vs. Alines" and "Penny Pinchers."

Weeks after "Madam Antoine" premiered on JTBC, Han will grace the cover of the February issue of Cosmopolitan Korea. She told the magazine that she really likes the smoky-eye makeup style, which fits her role in the new JTBC drama series.
