Girls' Generation member Taeyeon could not help but reply to her basher on Instagram. On Jan. 17, the singer posted a series of selfies on Instagram, including ones that are filtered using Snapchat.
While many praised her beauty, there was one netizen who left a harsh comment. The basher said that Taeyeon's face is melting because of her failed double eyelid and nose surgeries.
The criticism did not end there as the same netizen even claimed that Taeyeon has no loyalty to Seohyun. The basher said Seohyun promoted Taeyeon's solo song but she is not promoting hers.
The netizen added that because of Taeyeon's cosmetic surgeries, she can only post photos using snowcam filter. In response to her basher, Taeyeon posted a series of selfies showing her naked face. She took a portrait of her makeup-free look after replying to the netizen, "Yep. Look in the mirror." Check out one of her photos below:
Back in 2015, netizens suspected that Taeyeon underwent a plastic surgery in the midst of promoting her first solo album "I." According to Soompi, the plastic surgery rumors all started when Taeyeon chatted with her fans via Navers V app to promote the album.
Some fans noticed that she appeared different because her eyelids look deeper and her eyes look perfectly round compared to before. There are some who even compared Taeyeon's old photos to her latest ones to emphasize that the changes in her face were not just because of makeup technique but because of surgery.
In related news, fellow Girls' Generation youngest member Seohyun just released her first solo EP, "Don't Say No." The members of SNSD, especially Taeyeon, Tiffany and Hyoyeon expressed their support to their friend Seohyun. They gave her pieces of advice as she embarked on her first solo project since debuting in Girls' Generation nine years ago.
Naver reported that Seohyun event sent the girls her photo during her solo debut show at SM Town Theater in Gangnam-gu, Seoul last Sunday. According to Seohyun, the girls showered her praise and the concept of her album fits her well. "It gave me a lot of strength. It made me feel like I wasn't alone, even when I was," she said.
