Preview

Oklahoma City has been playing inconsistently in their past couple of games as the team lost two of their last three matches. They are still in the seventh spot in the Western Conference standings, though, six-and-a-half games ahead of eighth-seeded team Denver Nuggets and tied with the Memphis Grizzlies.

In their most recent game last Monday, the Thunder was crushed by the Los Angeles Clippers, 120-98, in a game when Chris Paul went down with a thumb injury, as per ESPN.

Russell Westbrook had an off-night but still led OKC with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Domantas Sabonis was the only other starter who scored in double figures with 10 points, four assists, and two steals.

Joffrey Lauvergne and Enes Kanter both scored in double-digits coming off the bench with 13 and 12 points respectively. The two have also combined for 14 rebounds.

OKC played without starting center Steven Adams, who is currently out with a concussion. He will also be unavailable in this match versus the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Golden State wins its fourth consecutive game with a 126-91 beating on arch-rivals and defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers also at the Oracle Arena on Monday night, The Guardian reported.

Klay Thompson top-scored for head coach Steve Kerr's squad with 26 points, shooting 5-for-11 from downtown, with four rebounds. Kevin Durant backed him up with 21 points, six boards, five assists, two steals, and three blocks, including a highlight one on LeBron James.

Stephen Curry contributed a double-double of 20 points and 11 assists with two rebounds and four steals while Draymond Green had a triple-double with 11 points, 13 boards, and 11 assists with five blocked shots.

The Warriors dominated the game from start to finish as they got back from their Christmas Day loss to the Cavs last month.

Prediction

The Thunder is 10-12 in away games this season while the Warriors are 19-3 at home this season. A lopsided win for Golden State is predicted.
