Zoe Kravitz, the actress who plays Newt Scamander's former flame in the Harry Potter spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," recently talked about her character's importance in the grand scheme of things. Moreover, she teases fans about her complex relationship with Newt. Kravitz revealed details about the sequel, all the more reason why fans should go back to the HP universe that J.K. Rowling created.

The 28 year old actress recently said that her relationship with Fantastic Beasts' main protagonist will be a key on how the story will progress, Cinema Blend reported. Just when you think you know what the movie is about, you'll realize that you've merely scratched the surface. Fans already know that she's related to Voldemort's evil right hand Bellatrix Lestrange but to establish their connection will be one of the interesting things that fans will see in the upcoming sequels.

Leta Lestrange's character was nothing more but an Easter Egg when she was introduced in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". Introducing her as Newt Scamander's lover, fans got nothing more than a brief background that they were close while the latter was still in Hogwarts. Yes they had an episodic break up and it's another interesting thing to see in the sequels when their paths crossed again.

Director David Yates illustrates Leta's character saying she's damaged, complicated, and confused but Newt's absolutely still in love with her, Slash Film reported. Promising that fans will see more of her in the upcoming movie, Yates teased that she's a tragic figure but still have power over Newt.

Even though she just confirmed that she will be part of the next few sequels she admits she's been kept in the dark just like the rest of the cast and crew. She says even Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) has no clue. But it doesn't mean he doesn't try to piece things together, which, according to Kravitz, is so much fun to watch.

Yates hinted the sequel will have strong romantic element to it. That could mean there will be a love triangle between Tina, Newt, and Leta. Finally, Kravitz said she's very excited for shooting to start which will be in the middle of summer this year.
