After several months being sidelined, the Sixers are now expecting that their future franchise player could possibly make his NBA this March. Though Simmons might still stay on the sideline until the end of the season, the Sixers management still has a lot of patience to wait for their star.

According to Chris Haynes of the ESPN, the Ben Simmons is now actively practicing with the team. After a couple of months in the rehab, Simmons is now able to participate on a 5-on-5 scrimmage for the first time..

The 20-year old Ben Simmons fractured his 5th metatarsal bone in his right foot during the NBA training camp last off-season. After the incident, the Sixers ruled him out and he was sent for a surgery immediately.

Ben Simmons is now active in the gym and the Sixers are reportedly working out on his conditioning. Simmons is expected to have a big role on both ends of the court for the Sixers.

The CBS Sports reported that after the Sixers announced the upcoming NBA debut of Ben Simmons, there are speculations that he will be playing against the Houston Rockets this coming Janaury 27th. With the current season of the Philadelphia 76ers, it is obvious that the team is regaining its confidence and is ready to bring back its glory days to the NBA Playoffs. With Joel Embiid's performance this season, it is clear that the team already found their future star.

Several basketball analysts said that having healthy Joel Embiid is pretty much an improvement for the team. Embiid is currently on top of the Rookie of the Year nominees and is likely to win it this year.
