"Pangako Sayo" alum Diego Loyzaga recently revealed the truth about his relationship with Sofia Andres.

In a recent interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda," Loyzaga said that he knows exactly where their dating rumors started.

"I can understand where this issue is coming from because we are always together, Sofia and I, after work, after ASAP. But that's because we have been good friends for a long time now," he explained.

When asked if he's courting Andres, Loyzaga said that they are simply just there for each other.

"I'm there for her, and she's there for me. As of now, we're just friends," he said.

Meanwhile, Loyzaga's character was recently killed off from "Pangako Sayo," but his fans need not worry because he will star in a new project alongside Andres.

In an interview with Push, Loyzaga said that he's very excited to be working with Andres on a new project.

"This upcoming year mapa-pair na kami ni Sofia Andres so I'm happy about that. Over the past few months we're getting closer. We're getting to know each other better so comfortable ako sa kanya," he said.

The actor also gushed over Andres, and said that she's actually a very nice young woman.

"Sobrang bait ni Sofia, we get along and if I were to choose I would have chosen Sofia anyway so I'm happy na hindi ko na kailangan pumili, and ABS-CBN na ang pumili para sakin," he added.

(She's so nice. We get along, and if I were to choose, I would have chosen Sofia anyway, I'm happy I didn't have to choose anymore because ABS-CBN already did that for me).

Back in December, Loyzaga was asked whether or not he thinks there's a chance he could fall in love with Andres.

At that time, the actor said, "Hopefully, I do. I hope so. Ako sa part ko ha, of course gusto ko."

(Hopefully, I do. I hope so. From my end, of course I want that).

Loyzaga also said that he's already preparing for his next project. Now that he's learned so much from appearing on "Forever More" and "Pangako Sayo," he's become more ready for anything.
