Block B's Park Kyung has finally made his solo debut with the release of "When I'm With You" on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, the idol did not forget to mention the people who have helped him in the new course.
In a press conference, Park Kyung admitted his Block B co-members have been a great help for his solo debut. According to Soompi, the idol mentioned he usually gets commended by Zico for his new music.
"After Zico listened to my two title tracks, he complimented me for the first time and said, "Kyung, you're really good at making music." He usually just says things like, 'The music's color came out well,' but he said this after he listened to "Memories" and some other songs," Park Kyung said.
He added his co-members Jaehyo and P.O. thought his new music is like a soundtrack of a popular movie or something that is played in restaurants.
On the other hand, Park Kyung made fun of Taeil and said, "Whichever songs Taeil likes usually don't do well and the songs he doesn't like, do well."
Aside from the support he is getting from his Block B co-members, the idol also talked about his closeness with TOP TEEN's Niel, Allkpop cited. Park Kyung shared they were both emotional when they last ran into each other at a shop.
The two even promised to work harder as musicians. Park Kyung admitted both of them did not well on music charts; hence, they would like to be there for each other.
"Though we have our own colors, I think my strength is that I can make any song my own, and my songs have my own style. I think I have my own bouncy style and pronunciation," he added.
