It has been more than six years since the release of the third installment of the "Toy Story" film series. Now, recent reports are loud that "Toy Story 4" might revolve in a love story concept.
It can be recalled that the previous installments of the franchise did not underwent a love story outline. Despite of that, the director of the upcoming "Toy Story 4," John Lasseter, is reportedly pumped up in doing the fourth sequel of the film series, CT reported. It was said that Lasseter was the one who directed the first "Toy Story" movie, and that with this another opportunity of directing another one for the franchise, Lasseter said that they now have a new idea for the fourth movie.
According to the same publication, "Toy Story 4" will revolve in the love story of Woody (Tom Hanks) and Bo Peep (Annie Potts). The report also cited that Bo Peep was last seen in the second installment since the third film focused on Woody's cow boy past along with Buzz (Tim Allen) and the crew. It was also noted that new characters might enter "Toy Story 4." Rumors suggest that an easygoing mom might be added and shall be voiced by Patricia Arquette.
On the other note, Health Aim cited that aside from the love story of Woody and Bo Peep, the fourth installment of the film franchise will also showcase the personal life of Andy (John Morris). It can be remembered that Andy was not seen to have a father, and was only raised by his mom, which is why recent speculations are circulating that the upcoming movie might finally show the father of Woody's beloved owner. It was also speculated that fans might see Andy's family reuniting in "Toy Story 4."
As of the moment, there is still no confirmation coming from Pixar or Disney regarding the Andy and his father plot. Meanwhile, the release date of "Toy Story 4" was moved to June 2019.
