The drama continues in the Madison Square Garden as Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks are rumored to part ways at any time this year. Reports show that Phil Jackson plans to deal Anthony to resolve the losing issue of the team.

As per the Complex reported, Carmelo Anthony stated that he has no desire to leave the New York Knicks and will continue to be a loyal player for the team. Even Anthony is currently surrounded by several rumors, he still opted to stay with the team.

Currently, it shows that Knicks President Phil Jackson wants Carmelo Anthony out of the team. It is no surprise that Jackson is picking up a fight against Anthony to start an issue that would probably lead to Anthony's departure from the Knicks.

In press release held by the Travelers Today, Carmelo Anthony said that he is willing to take a seat and talk with the Knicks' management if the team would want him out. Carmelo Anthony cited that he is willing to cooperate if that provide the best result for both parties.

Carmelo Anthony has a No-Trade-Clause included in his contract. The Knicks is paying $24 million per year and will be a member of the Knicks until 2019. Anthony recently said that he would waive his NTC (No-Trade-Clause) if the team really wants him out.

Several basketball analysts said that the Knicks needs to keep Melo. He is currently the main reason why the Madison Square Garden is jam-packed every night. Anthony is also considered to be the right man for the team, though the Knicks is not the right club for him.

On the other hand, some say that Melo should leave the team as early as possible. The Knicks are currently in disarray and there is no such attraction for him to stay since Knicks doesn't have any bright future.

At his age, Anthony doesn't have enough time to wait and sit on a rebuilding team. The All-Star power forward Carmelo Anthony is part of the big 4 of the 2003 draft along with Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, but is the only star who doesn't own an NBA title.
