Preview

Brooklyn has continued to struggle this season with a three-game losing streak. The team has lost 14 of their last 15 matches to remain in the bottom of the East, six-and-a-half games behind the second-from-the-last squad Miami Heat.

The Nets were nipped by the Miami Heat, 109-106, in their most recent game on Wednesday night at their home court of Barclays Center, as per Fansided.

Brook Lopez had 33 points, four rebounds, and three assists for the Nets in a losing effort. Bojan Bogdanovic backed him up with 17 points, five boards, two assists, and two steals while Spencer Dinwiddie added 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Off the bench, rookie Caris LaVert was the only player in double digits with 12 points and four assists.

Jeremy Lin (left hamstring) and Joe Harris (ankle) are still out for Brooklyn with separate injuries.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are on a downward spiral at the moment, losing six of their last eight games. The defending champs are still on top of the East, though, with second-place squad Toronto Raptors three games behind them.

Cleveland is coming off a disappointing 116-112 overtime loss to the lowly Sacramento Kings right on their home floor last Wednesday, Cleveland.com reported. It was the third straight defeat for head coach Tyronn Lue's squad and all of them were decided by no more than four points each.

LeBron James had a triple-double of 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists in the defeat with Kevin Love pulling off a double-double of 21 points and 16 boards with five assists. Kyrie Irving added 20 points, six assists, two steals, and two blocks while Iman Shumpert fired 16 points on 4-for-7 three-point shooting.

Kyle Korver knocked down four three-pointers to score 12 points off the bench and also had three assists.

Prediction

The Nets are bad on the road with a 2-19 record while the Cavs are great at home with a 19-5 slate. Cleveland is predicted to snap their losing streak and win big against Brooklyn.
