Yenny, of the recently disbanded South Korean girl group Wonder Girls, has recently left a short yet meaningful message to fans through her Instagram account.
In the post, four members of the band were seen to be performing on the concert stage. Along with it is the star’s brief message written in Korean text which can be translated into the English language as "Thank you. Thank you WonderFul". Furthermore, a link to a tribute video prepared by JYP Entertainment was indicated in the caption.
Aside from the singer, her fellow Wonder Girls member Sunye also expressed her appreciation and gratitude to everyone who has been part of the group’s journey, reports All KPop. In a Twitter post, she wrote: "From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank everyone who walked together with the Wonder Girls who went through many changes over the past ten years. Please look forward to and support the members as they embark on a new adventure. Thank you once again for your warm love and cheers. Thank you so much everybody!"
Meanwhile, talent management agency Amoeba Culture has finally released their official statement regarding the rumored meeting with Yenny. It can be recalled that the KPop idol, together with Sunmi, decided not to renew their contract with JYP Entertainment.
"It's true we met with Yenny to discuss her future as a musician, but we didn't discuss anything in detail. We cannot say anything more at this point. As the Wonder Girls, who's spent 10 precious years at JYP Entertainment, are releasing a new single album soon, we hope these reports don't cause any harm," stated Amoeba Culture as quoted by All KPop.
Yenny made her entertainment debut in 2007 after joining Wonder Girls alongside Yubin, Sunmi, Hyerim, Sunye, Hyuna and Sohee. The group announced their official disbandment on January 26.
