Kim Young Kwang appeared on Naver's V app to extend his greetings to fans in the celebration of New Year. The model-turned-actor reportedly did a live broadcast on Friday with a rooster puppet on his hand as a way to welcome the Year of the Rooster.
"Happy New Year. I wish you all the best. And if you made New Year's resolutions, I hope you totally keep them," Kim Young Kwang said as per Korea Herald.
Last year appeared to be good for the actor after being casted for the main roles in web drama "Gogh, The Starry Night" and drama series "The Man Living In Our House." In a press conference, Kim Young Kwang admitted he was pressured to play as the male lead of the latter.
"I felt pressure about playing a lead role for the first time on a main broadcasting channel, but when we started filming, the seniors and directors and staff all looked after me kindly and helped me perform well," he said as cited by Allkpop.
Kim Young Kwang took the role of Go Nan Gil in "The Man Living In Our House." The actor shared the small screen with Soo Ae for the 16-episode drama based on a webtoon of the same title.
The 37-year-old actress admitted she had a good chemistry with Kim Young Kwang in the drama series. Soo Ae even commended the actor for being compliant while they were filming together.
"He listens to me well and has a lot of aegyo [cute display of affection] so the filming is very fun. I can't say that there is no pressure from the previous drama," she added.
Aside from his on-screen chemistry with Soo Ae, Kim Young Kwang has also built a fun bromance with co-actor Lee Soo Hyuk behind the cameras of "The Man Living In Our House."
Meanwhile, Kim Young Kwang has been confirmed for two films this year. The actor is set to play the lead roles for "Broker" and "Wonderful Life."
