The Coen Brothers are back and this time they are directing a commercial for the Super Bowl. Like most commercials for the big sports event, it is a big production commercial and it is for the latest sports car from Mercedes-AMG.

Born to be Wild

The Coen Brothers will have something unique to offer to their fans in the upcoming Super Bowl: a 30-second commercial. According to Adweek, the commercial is expected to air during the 4th quarter of the game. But fans can now watch the commercial online.

The commercial is set in a road side bar with "Born to be Wild" playing and a prominent poster of Peter Fonda's film "Easy Rider" is on fill display. While everyone is enjoying the rough and tumble setting of the bar, someone enters and declares that their motorcycle was blocked by a sports car. It turns out that the sports car is driven by none other than Peter Fonda who casually greets everyone before leaving.

"Easy Rider" is a 1968 cult film starring Peter Fonda. It's considered a counterculture film at that time as it features bikers out in the open road of America.

Super Bowl Half -Time

A Coen Brothers commercial is not the only highlight outside the game. The half time show will also feature one of the hottest acts today. None other than Lady Gaga will grace the half time show according to the official website of the NFL.

The half time show is also going to be a unique event compared to the previous years. For the first time ever, Lady Gaga will headline the show without any other singers and/or artists coming in for another performance. However, it's still possible that some surprise guests will grace the stage with Lady Gaga.

A Coen Brothers commercial and Lady Gaga at half should be an interesting add on to the exciting Super Bowl Game. Watch the Coen Brothers commercial below:
