Preview

Cleveland has come out of their previous three-game losing slide with two straight wins so far and is still on top of the Eastern Conference table, three-and-a-half games ahead of second-running squad Boston Celtics.

The team will be without starting power forward Kevin Love in this match against the Mavericks as he is currently sidelined by a sore back.

In their most recent game on Sunday night, the Cavaliers were able to build a two-game winning run as they thrashed the Oklahoma City Thunder, 107-91, on their home floor of Quicken Loans Arena, as per SB Nation.

Kyrie Irving led his squad with a double-double of 29 points and 10 assists with three rebounds while LeBron James almost had a triple-double performance with 25 points, 14 boards, and eight assists.

Tristan Thompson also had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds plus four steals and four blocked shots while Iman Shumpert was the fourth starter in double figures with 16 points and three boards.

Kevin Love only played 12 minutes and had only one point and eight rebounds as he left the game with 1:50 left in the second period because of a strained back.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have won three of their last four games to move out of the cellar of the Western Conference. The team is now third from the last place in the West standings with the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns having worse records.

Dallas is coming off an impressive 105-101 victory over powerhouse team San Antonio Spurs on the road at the AT&T Center also last Sunday, the Dallas News reported.

Seth Curry led the Mavs with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists with Harrison Barnes backing him up with 19 points, three boards, and two assists. Wes Matthews had 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals while Dirk Nowitzki added 15 points and 10 boards with four blocked shots.
