Devon Sawa tweets and from the looks of it the actor is keen to bring out sequels of his 90's hit movies, "Casper'' and ''Now and Then''. While the studios have not confirmed any such development, Devon seems keen to take things ahead.
He tweeted to Universal asking them to revive the popular ghost series. Interestingly, ''Casper'' completed 22 years recently. He did something similar for the sequel of Now and Then too. The actor tweeted to Marlene King asking about the script of the sequel to ''Now and Then''.
His tweets may have led to a spur of excitement in fans but they did end up confusing fans as well. Surprisingly, Sawa ended up destroying all the excitement surrounding the possibility of a sequel by clarifying that he is not ready for it now.
Later during the day, the actor took to twitter to clarify his stand, explaining that he was not ready for sequel. He said the same for ''Now and Then'' as well. So, if Damon was not ready why did he raise expectations through his tweet?
Sawa could be toying with the idea of proposing remakes. However, the report on ET Online suggests that this could be an excellent opportunity to make the most of the situation. Reviving a 90's classic will help the audience connect to the movie and loyal fans are sure to help its popularity grow. Apparently, the actor hinted at the possibility of a sequel for Little Giants. ET Online further reports that
If the sequels do happen, the movies could become an excellent opportunity for the star cast to reunite and connect with one another. Damon Sawa tweets have indeed raised a shadow of doubt over the possibility of sequels in the near future.
Additionally, MTV elaborates that fans may be excited to see Damon who portrayed Casper and Kat Harvey (Christina Ricci). After all, the couple's awesome chemistry and dance did win hearts at that time.
