The upcoming episodes of "How to Get Away with Murder" will find Bonnie representing Annalise in court. But with all the craziness happening from her world right now, it will be a string of rough weeks for Bonnie to represent her boss.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Bonnie's portrayer Liza Weil explained how Annalise's incarceration will put a lot of pressure in her. Having been one of Annalise's legal allies for so long, Weil shares that Bonnie's new role is something that she's wanted to do for some time. Whether the client is Annalise or not, all Bonnie wanted to experience was for her strong presence to be felt in court and see Annalise believing in her strengths.
However, Bonnie's dream isn't exactly happening for her right now. In the next episodes. Weil previewed that viewers will find Bonnie doing the best she can, while she faces "quite a few obstacles" in the way. Frank's confession to Wes' murder will also factor into Bonnie's current ordeal.
"Bonnie is going to quickly discover that Frank has now confessed to Wes' murder," the actress explained.
"Now she's going to have to figure out how to proceed with defending Annalise. Although Frank taking the fall was something that was previously discussed between Bonnie and Frank, I do think it's very much a shock to her and it does leave her even more alone in having to take care of everything and everyone. Anxieties and suspicions are running at an all-time high."
In addition to Annalise's incarceration arc, "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3 will also feature the guest appearance of Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry. The same publication reported that Henry will appear on the show's Feb. 9th installment. Details on his character are still under wraps.
"How to Get Away with Murder" also stars Viola Davis, Billy Brown, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber, and Conrad Ricamora.
An all new episode titled "Not Everything's About Annalise" airs Feb. 2nd on ABC.
