Scott Eastwood has shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of "Pacific Rim: Uprising" in Australia. The actor teased one of the locations in the film, which features the Jaeger.
Eastwood took to social media to share his photo filming for his scene in "Pacific Rim: Uprising." The snap, which he shared on his Instagram, shows him in a white shirt and jeans, looking to the side. He is leaning against a big set piece.
According to Comicbook, Eastwood could be at the Jaeger station. Those who saw the first film may be familiar with the Jaeger. This is the giant mechanical suit used by the soldiers to defeat the Kaijus.
Meanwhile, details about this particular scene in "Pacific Rim: Uprising" are unknown. Perhaps Eastwood's character is awaiting orders for another Kaiju battle.
Talking about Eastwood's character, fans still do not know his role in the sequel. Previous reports revealed he plays a major or "key role" in the film. He plays the character named Lambert. Perhaps Lambert has a big role to play in the battle against the Kaijus, much like Charlie Hunnam's Raleigh Becket from the first movie.
Hunnam will not be reprising his role in the sequel. It is safe to say then that Eastwood's Lambert could be the hero in "Pacific Rim: Uprising." He could be in-charge of making sure humanity is safe against the threat of the Kaijus.
Meanwhile, aside from Eastwood, his co-star John Boyega also previously shared a behind-the-scenes photo for "Pacific Rim: Uprising." The actor teased some weapons and costume upgrades in the sequel.
"Pacific Rim: Uprising" takes place a few years after the events in the first film. The sequel is going to feature another grand fight between Jaegers and Kaijus. Guillermo del Toro told Yahoo that this battle happens at the end of the film.
