'Attack on Titan' news and update: Erin, Mikasa Depicted in new artwork; Season 2 dominated by power and death?

A new era has begun for anime segment, "Attack on Titan." An animator depicted Erin and Mikasa in an entirely different way. This image could be a mark of how things will change for them and for their friends when season 2 airs.

Reports have surfaced that the series will return within the first week of April. Also, Funimation mentioned that Season 2 would have a simulcast start date along with the release of its new piece of promotional art for the segment.

IGN also relayed that the second season for "Attack on Titan" was initially planned for release last year, but was later pushed to 2017 and back in December, it was revealed that Season 2 would premiere sometime this coming April.


Shortly after Funimation announced it had secured the license to simulcast the new season, the anime streaming service released the first official footage of Season 2, which features several familiar faces and a monstrous new one, reports the same post.

With Eren and Mikasa appearing once more, the excitement of the fans and followers of the series is in uproar. Given the long hiatus, it is understandable why the confirmation would baffle the enthusiasts.

Claims have surfaced in the past regarding "Attack on Titan," and finally the final word has been out. The rumors are all laid to rest with the segment airing in just a few months. As for the storyline, everything remains unsettled since the creators have not revealed the full details for it.

With the return of the series, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will surely pacify the enthusiasts that have longed for the series for many months. Questions are already pouring in regarding the fate of Mikasa, Eren, Levi, Armin and the rest of the gang.
