"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is back on Fox and it is the show's 4rth season. It will premiere on April 11 with their guest star, Nathan Fillion from the hit TV series, "Castle."
Yahoo wrote about Fillion being quite in demand in a lot of TV shows lately, especially after "Castle" ended in 2016. "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is one of his acting gigs alongside "Modern Family" on ABC "Santa Clarita Diet" on Netflix.
The 45-year-old veteran actor is not only making a noise on TV but he is also ruling some web series like Con Man by Alan Tudyk. Going back to his guest appearance on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," Fillion will play the role of Mark Devereaux, a TV star of a legal show called "Serve & Protect."
Entertainment Weekly reported that his character would attempt to solve a crime with detectives Jake and Rosa (Andy Samberg and Stephanie Beatriz). The interesting part is that the crime happened on the set of his TV show.
Him being the star of the said show made him assume that he could solve the mystery behind it and find the culprit himself along with the other detectives. In his eagerness to solve the case, he wanted to convince the other detectives that he could do this since he has years of experience playing the role of one on TV.
Gary Lurmax, the executive producer of "Serve & Protect" will also be an interesting character in this show, as he would try to recruit Jake to be a part of the show. Greg Germann will be playing this role.
He is known for shows like "Ally McBeal" back in the 90s and the recent "One Upon A Time." Fans of Nathan Fillion is not going to be disappointed this year because they will be seeing more of him on TV.
