Viewers of ongoing drama "Chief Kim" are surprised of Junho's portrayal of his first antagonist role. In fact, the 2PM member has been receiving positive feedback from the audience for playing as Seo Yul.

In the KBS drama, Junho's character will go against Namgoong Min after being appointed as the new Director of Finance of TQ Group. Since "Chief Kim" started airing on Jan. 25, the series has stayed on top in terms of viewership ratings for the Wednesday-Thursday 10:00 pm timeslot.

"I'm thankful for the rising viewership ratings, and I'm grateful that viewers see Seo Yul in a positive light. I'm lacking in many ways, but I'm thankful for the love that I've been receiving," Junho said as per Soompi.

The 2PM member admitted his schedule has been hectic, considering that he is also gearing up for the upcoming shows of the boy group. "Thankfully the people I work with are considerate and encouraging, so I'm able to do both things concurrently," he added.

Previously, Junho shared how he prepared for his role in "Chief Kim." According to Allkpop, the idol-turned-actor took to Naver V app to talk about how he went through rough diet to fit the character.

The 27-year-old 2PM member said he had to lose weight for the drama; hence, he restricted himself to one meal per day. Junho admitted the routine was intended to shape his appearance for "Chief Kim."

Aside from limiting his food intake, Junho also spends time for his exercise. After doing these practices, the 2PM member revealed he managed to achieve his v-line back.

In the midst of his preparation for 2PM's upcoming "6Nights" concert, Junho said he is trying to loosen up his diet. The six-member boy group will take the stage of the Olympic Handball Stadium on Feb. 24 to 26 and Mar. 3 to 5 for their farewell concert before Taecyeon and Jun.K's enlistment.
