"It's Showtime" host Vice Ganda recently slammed the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for playing a pirated copy of Bea Alonzo and Johny Lloyd Cruz's movie "A Second Chance."

On Twitter, AdProm Manager of Star Cinema Mico del Rosario was first to call the attention to DFA Ali Mall branch for showing a fake copy of the film.

"Dear DFA ALI MALL, bakit po kayo nagpapalabas ng pirated copy ng A Second Chance dyan? Blatant na po talaga ang paglabag sa batas? Ummm... Government agency po kayo?" the tweet read.

(Dear DFA ALI MALL, why are showing a pirated copy of A Second Chance at your branch? You are a government agency).

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda retweeted the same post and wrote, "This is DISGUSTING!!! Hoy DFA Ali Mall ang garapal nitong ahensya ng gobyernong ito!!"

In a follow up tweet, the TV host added, "Langya magpalabas ba ng pirated na A Second Chance e meron namang pirated na Beauty and the Bestie!!! Chozzz! #NoToPiracy."

"Beauty and the Bestie" was Vice's entry at the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2015 alongside Coco Martin.

Vice Ganda's tweets have been retweeted hundreds of times by netizens who also took the celebrity's side in the issue.

According to the majority of the commenters, DFA really hit below the belt when they decided to show a pirated copy of the film to the customers waiting in line.

As of late, no other celebrity has commented regarding the issue.

In other news, Vice Ganda shared a hilarious photo on his Instagram account revealing how his face would look like if someone asks for his partner's number.

"Nung nakita mong may kumukuha ng number ng jowa mo!!" he wrote.

The funnyman also shared a photo of himself with his "It's Showtime" co-star Anne Curtis via the same social media platform.

"Backstage beauties!!" he wrote.

Vice Ganda also gushed over his adorable new puppy on Instagram.

"Enjoying my new favorite playmate Terry. Thanks @outkastparadigm for my camo shirt!" he wrote.

Another showed him hugging Terry while going down the stairs.

"Yung mas cute pa sayo yung alaga mo. #saklap," he wrote.

Vice Ganda appears on "It's Showtimes" from Monday to Saturday on ABS-CBN.
