Lee Joon Hyuk's kind deed has come to light after a firefighter shared about the actor's generosity in an online page on Friday. Apparently, the celebrity donated all his income from "Naked Fireman" to help firefighters.

Just recently, Lee Joon Hyuk played as a firefighter in "Naked Fireman," a four-part TV series that was aired from Jan. 12 to 19 on KBS. After his firsthand practice of the profession, the Korean actor reportedly recognized the struggles of being a firefighter.

"As Lee Joon Hyuk acted as a firefighter in "Naked Fireman," he empathized with the professional difficulties of firefighters, so he decided to donate all his earnings," LN Company said as per Soompi.

Before the donation was made public, it was revealed that the fire department mistakenly thought another actor with the same name made the monetary donation. However, it was later clarified that the donor was Lee Joon Hyuk from "Naked Fireman."

The fire department also stated they are currently looking for three beneficiaries from 18 cities to receive Lee Joon Hyuk's donation as per Koreaboo.

Meawhile, a source affiliated with the actor's agency said the actor intended to extend the donation secretly. "Our actor [Lee Joon Hyuk] doesn't like news of his donation being made public, but for our agency, it's good to hear," the staff said.

It went on, "We're more worried that we may have caused an inconvenience to the other actor [whose] name was initially mentioned."

After learning about the good deed, fans commended the actor for his generosity and sincerity. "What a golden-hearted guy. You must be a role model to celebrities," a netizen wrote.

Aside from his role in "Naked Fireman," Lee Joon Hyuk is also known for his character in "City Hunter." The 32-year-old actor played as a prosecutor in the 2011 drama series.
