2PM's Jun. K has suffered serious injuries in an accident while performing on stage during a concert on Feb. 26, Sunday. The idol was rushed to the hospital after falling from a moving stage platform during the group's "6Nights" concert at the Seoul Olympic Park SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium.

During the concert, Jun. K was getting ready to perform the hit song, "Hands Up," and got on to the moving platform, which was supposed to come together at the center of the stage. However, the idol was not aware of this and the staff members unlocked the platform, which caused Jun. K to fall nearly 3 meters (almost 9 feet) between the moving platforms, according to Koreaboo.

The concert came to a screeching halt as soon as Jun. K fell and the idol was stretchered off the venue. It is reported that fans will be getting a refund for the concert, but most of them are currently worried about their favorite idol's well-being. Several fans have taken to social media to wish Jun. K a speedy recovery.

Shortly after the accident, 2PM's agency, JYP Entertainment released an official statement, obtained by Soompi, on the idol's condition. In the statement, the agency revealed that Jun. K had broken a couple of his bones and apologized to the fans for not ensuring their artist's safety.

"Jun.K immediately left the concert and was moved to the hospital, where he received a thorough examination," the agency said. "The results show that he suffered a fracture in his right elbow and forth finger on his right hand. He received the necessary medical attention, and is currently under observation and resting."

"We would like to sincerely apologize to the audience, the fans, and the artists for failing to guarantee the safety of our artists," the agency added. The statement ended with a promise of regular updates on Jun. K's health in the near future.
