The second season of Attack on Titan is just around the corner. This coming Saturday, April 1, Eren, Mikasa, Armin and the rest of the Survey Corps will be back on the small screen more than four years after the end of the first season.
Based on Hajime Isayama's post-apocalyptic manga series, Attack on Titan/ Shingeki no Kyojin will pick up where the initial story left off, following a group of teenage soldiers seeking for freedom from the tyranny of the human-eating Titans.
The first 25 episodes of the series left a mark among hardcore and casual anime fans with its survival theme, intriguing personalities and adrenaline-pumping moments. Anime pundits are expecting the upcoming season to be even better as it delves deeper into the nature and origins of the titans, not to mention the arrival of new characters.
