Brad Pitt did not spare a second to arrange a date with his children on Monday, hours after they arrived home from a weeklong London trip with his soon-to-be ex-wife Angelina Jolie, Hollywood Life first covered the story.

Pitt, 53, reunited with 15-year old Maddox, 13-year old Pax, 12-year old Sahara, 10-year old Shiloh and 8-year old twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, taking them to their favorite cheeseburger joint in Los Angeles.

"Brad's heart was full of joy to hear from his kids that they actually missed him while they were overseas. Jokingly, the kids told him they also missed American food too, so Brad took them all out for cheeseburgers after they were reunited from their European trip," a source close to situation told Hollywood Life.

The source added the prevailing situation between Pitt and Jolie has been beneficial for all the parties involved, as their kids relish every moment they could have with their father. The actor is equally ecstatic as well to have his kids around with a vacation plan already booked.

"The time apart was healthy for all involved as the kids, and Brad, had a chance to really miss each other. While they only spent a brief amount of time together, shortly after their return, Brad is planning to take the kids on their own vacation with him sometime soon, once they recover from this last trip with mom," according to Hollywood Life.

The Pitt-Jolie kids have been traveling around the world with their mother more often since the split. Last February, Angelina brought the kids with her in Cambodia for the premiere of First The Killed My Father, her latest venture as a director.

A couple of weeks later, Jolie brought her pack on a trip to London, where she delivered a speech at the London School of Economics on women, peace and security. They then flew to Geneva, Switzerland where she addressed issues on refugees at a UN event.
