According to The Mercury News, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's 10-year-old daughter was upset when Hillary Clinton was defeated by the newly elected President Donald Trump during the recent elections. The "Dawson's Creek" actress revealed that she and her daughter thought Clinton will be the one to win because she was able to held pressure under fire during the debates back in October.

“I thought Hillary was going to win this year,” Holmes shares in an interview. “And it was such a... It just hurt so badly when she did not. And I know that it hurt my child so much as a 10-year-old, and it really made me think, ‘Oh we have a lot … a long way to go as women.'”

Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes attended and watched the debates of Clinton and Trump in the past. Suri was reportedly amazed with Clinton's answers and Holmes was happy that Suri was able to witness how powerful Clinton was.

“It was wonderful to have my 10-year-old see a woman up there doing well and being very clear and thoughtful in her responses and in her passion for what she wants to do for our country,” the "Jack and Jill actress says.

Holmes and Tom Cruise have been divorced for years now and the "Jack Reacher" actor reportedly kept his distance from them, because Holmes was labeled as "SP" or suppressive person who can affect Tom's connection in Scientology. ETalk even states that the new series, "The Arrangement" might be about their past marriage.

As of now, Suri Cruise's mom, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are yet to comment about the reports connecting them to "The Arrangement" show.
