South Korean boy group Highlight (former B2ST) members reveal how they adapted to the changes as their band switches name as they were featured in the latest issue of “Singles” magazine.
The Highlight boys admitted that the transition process has been difficult for them as their former name holds great memories for everyone who has been part of their career. However, the members added that it was the love and support of their fans that has made them feel better.
According to Highlight as quoted by All KPop: "It was hard to change our name because of all the memories that we built with our fans over a long period of time. We got a lot of strength from fans because they told us that they liked the five members inside the name, not the name itself… We aren't thinking lightly of this change. But we believe that if the five of us stay together, we could go in a good direction. We're looking forward to starting anew together."
Aside from having an interview, the band members also had a photo shoot with the magazine. In the released shot, the boys looked dapper and handsome in their classic-modern outfits.
In one of the photos, the Highlight members carried out their hot looks as they pose for the camera in an elegant modern house setting. The next images, on the other hand, reveal the dashing individual shots of the boys.
Meanwhile, the band has recently appeared on the April 1 installment of the MBC’s TV program “My Little Television”. During the show, the members were all game for a conversation with the program hosts. Furthermore, their thoughts about the future were also tested through a lie detector.
“If I were to be by myself, I wouldn’t be able to say that I’m having fun. However, since I have my members and my fans, I’m able to handle any fear that I have. Our fans don’t have to worry about us. It’s exciting that we can make new memories,” stated Yoseob as quoted by Soompi.
