South Korean KPop group BTS has once again achieved another milestone of their career as the music video of their single “Dope” hits over 150 million views on YouTube.
The music video, which was released in June 2015 through the YouTube page of the worldwide KPop channel, currently has approximately 151,100,000 views and over 1.5 million likes on the video sharing website as of April 12, All KPop reports. To extend their love and appreciation to the group, their supporters expressed their support to BTS.
“…I'm so proud of KINGTAN. Let's not give up Armys! Let's aim for 'Not Today', 'Spring Day', and 'Save Me' to 100M club and 'Pope', 'Fire', 'Blood Sweat and Tears' and 'Boy in Luv' to 200M club!” one fan stated.
Another one added: “Congratulation to BTS and ARMY. Lets join our 200 million club. Fighting!”.
On the other hand, BTS has once again claimed the top spot of Korean Business Research Institute’s “Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings” for the month of April with a total score of 7,899,583. The band has stayed on the same rank for 5 consecutive months already.
Following the line up are Highlight with 6,782,585 points and EXO which acquired a total score of 3,453,582. Also included in the top 10 list are SEVENTEEN, BTOB, NU’EST, BIGBANG, GOT7, WINNER, and SHINee.
“Although there was a decrease in big data for branding, BTS was able to maintain their first place spot due to their album data… Highlight came in second place and showed many positive key words associated with the group such as ‘smiling’ and ‘thankful.’ In fact, 75.41% of the keywords they were associated with were optimistic,” the Korean Business Research Institute stated as quoted by Soompi.
Meanwhile, on the female girl band counterpart, it was the KPop group TWICE which topped the ranking with the brand reputation score of 4,890,216. Following them are PRISTIN, Girl’s Day, Red Velvet, and BLACKPINK.
