Established Canadian-Hong Kong actor Edison Chen was recently revealed to be dating Chinese supermodel Shupei Qin. Unfortunately, his love life is not without complications, as it was also just unveiled that the gorgeous international model is still married to Huayi Brothers Media Corporation's managing director, Zhao Lei.

According to Hong Kong entertainment news site AhMike, on Tuesday, May 31, Edison and Shupei stepped out of their hotel together and were spotted by paparazzi who took snaps of them. Edison had no problems facing the paparazzi while Shupei attempted to avoid the prying photographers by wearing a baseball cap and covering her face with her hand.

However, when Edison was asked by the paparazzi if Shupei is already divorced, the actor was irked and tried to get a hold of the camera. The paparazzi, however, was insistent and kept asking Edison if he is dating Shupei. He angrily answered them with, "I have a lot of girlfriends! Go check out my Instagram!"

The actor was about to get inside his vehicle, but decided to confront the paparazzi again. "How much do you guys make in a month? Answer me!" Edison asked. He also took out his phone in an attempt to take a picture of the paparazzi before showing them his middle finger.

Rumors have been making rounds that Edison and Shupei are dating since September 2015, after a picture of the supermodel sitting on the actor's lap surfaced. Although there has been no confirmation about their relationship, sources claim that they have been seeing each other for almost a year. Edison reportedly pursued the married model through his private Instagram account.

Shupei's husband, Zhao, has spoken up about the issue by posting his sentiments on the matter on WeChat. He revealed that he and Shupei are still married, adding that he feels his life is a joke right now.

"I was sad and angry at the same time when news broke out about the cheating. However, I chose to listen to my elders' advice to let go and to give myself some respect," he wrote. "But why should I be the one staying silent? Why should I keep on respecting someone that doesn't respect me anymore? I want to know when did cheating become openly acceptable? P.S. Do you want me to wish you happiness even before our divorce is finalized?"

Edison and Shupei are yet to comment on Zhao's statements.
