INFINITE's Woohyun recently shared saddening news on INFINITE's V Live stream. The singer revealed that his shoulder has been completely ruined due to an injury he got in 2014.

According to Koreaboo, the 2014 incident refers to the "Idol Star Athletics Champioships" where Woohyun injured his shoulder while playing indoor soccer.

Woohyun explained that he no longer has any cartilage in his shoulders as they have been torn. His doctor also told him that it's possible he would soon develop frozen shoulder, and would experience a lot of pain by the time he reaches his 30s or 40s.

After contracting his injury, his shoulder didn't recover completely and he was required to change his usual workout routine in order to avoid anything that would put too much stress on his injured shoulder.

Due to his condition, Woohyun's exercise is now limited to light running. Before the injury, Woohyun was quite an athlete and was in fact into doing extreme contact sports. The singer assured fans that he's taking extra precaution when exerting effort on his shoulder, particularly when dancing.

Meanwhile, INFINITE is preparing to make a comeback. According to Soompi, the group teased during a fan meeting in March that they might return with new music on May this year. If their promotions in May push through, it will be INFINITE's first comeback in eight months. The group's latest release was "INFINITE Only," the group's sixth mini album, which featured the title track "The Eye."

The members have been busy working on individual acting projects. Hoya and L were filming dramas in February. L starred in "Ruler: Master of the Mask" while Hoya starred in "Self-Illuminating Office." Sunggyu and Dongwoo, on the other hand, were more active in theater musicals.

There is no word yet as to the final comeback date and the group's concept and track list. Stay tuned for updates!
