Alan Wan, a contract artist for TVB, recently opened his own ice cream sandwich shop and has been pretty hands-on. Since opening his shop, Alan has been spotted serving customers, as well as preparing their orders.
Not only does Alan serve his customers and prepare their desserts for them, but he also does some of the heavy work. Although he admitted he is tired, he said, "I am doing it for my own store so it can't be helped."
Alan's dream was to open his own ice cream sandwich shop, and that dream finally came to life when he decided to invest a whopping 7-figure amount to put up his business, named Stacks Ice Cream, last year. The shop is located in Mong Kok.
Following the success of his first ice cream shop, the 29-year old actor is apparently interested in opening up a new branch with fellow actor and good friend, Jack Hui. However, planning may have to wait as he is currently busy preparing for the Dragon Boat Festival, which will happen next week.
Alan will serve his desserts during the Dragon Boat Festival as he will be renting a booth somewhere in the Stanley district.
"There will be a lot of people going to Stanley for the dragon boat race next week. So I am going to rent a booth there to make some money. I have a lot of friends coming to help me out all the time," Alan said. "I am going to see if Sisley Choi and Kelly Cheung will have time!"
As for his new branch, he mentioned that he needs to do more research, although he revealed that he and Jack have already checked out a space, which has two floors.
