Culture Club fans have expressed disappointment that a scheduled two-night concert of the famous 80's English pop group will now be a one-night affair. The band was scheduled to play on June 17 and 18 at the Areneta Coliseum. However, due to alleged travel and logistics' issues, organizers have canceled the show on the 17th.

Royal Chimes Concerts & Events, Inc., the band's promoters, announced that they are willing to replace the tickets for people who bought the June 17 show to June 18. Otherwise, fans can opt for a refund.

The Manila concert is part of Culture Club's planned 40-City tour. The tour will take the band to Australia, Canada, United States, Japan, and Mexico. The June 18 show will be the first time that Culture Club will perform for their Filipino fans.

As fans express their disappointment about the decision to cut Culture Club's show short, the organizers of the show have made an offer to compensate for the lost night.  Royal Chimes Concerts & Events has released cash-only tickets worth P25, 000 which will be sold to 100 fans to "meet and greet" with the stars. The special pass comes with a double disc album of Culture Club's greatest hits and an exclusive concert shirt.

The tickets will be made available on June 10 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Kaleidoscope Event Area of Greenfield District Central Park. On the same night, a "Boy George and Culture Club night and sing-and-lookalike contest" will also take place.

Despite the sad news, Boy George is still excited to perform for their Filipino fans.
