The famous Korean Pop Band BTS are currently on their Asian tour and their agency Big Hit Entertainment has gently reminded fans of the group to observe proper etiquette since many have been showing their affection for the band in the wrong manner.
BTS' fan base has grown even more since they topped the most viewed K-pop music videos in the world for 2016. Two of their songs that topped the United States music billboard recently are "Fire" and "Save Me."
Although Big Hit Entertainment did not fully elaborate what "wrong manner" means, they cited some incidents where fans would keep taking pictures of the band despite being restrained by their bodyguards. Fans have reportedly also been aggressive in their attempt to see the band. Some fans have allegedly even booked the same airline as BTS just to have a glimpse of the band.
The agency reminded BTS' fans to behave properly to avoid any accidents that could harm both the fans and the members of the group.
Big Hit announced that they would allocate as many bodyguards as they can during every event. The company, however, said it would like to seek the cooperation of fans to maintain this safety by following proper fan etiquette.
