Onscreen lovebirds Ko Won-hee and Lee Ha-yul are dating!

During the actress' guest appearance on KBS' entertainment channel Happy Together on Thursday, June 16, Ko revealed that she and Lee have been dating.

"I have been waiting for this moment to spill the beans in public for the first time," she said.

She said that a certain blogger publicly revealed their relationship status online.

"Even my agency's boss doesn't know that my boyfriend is Lee because, if I had told him before the show, he would have stopped me from coming here," she admitted, according to Korea Times.

When asked why she finally decided to make her eight-month romance public, she said she was encouraged by her father.

In November, rumors surfaced that the couple has been dating, but the agencies of both parties immediately brushed off the talk.

Ko and Lee worked together on the KBS2 drama series entitled The Stars are Shining, which aired for six months. The two apparently developed feelings for each other during the project.

Ko started out in the showbusiness in 2011 and has appeared in a number of projects including the 2015 film Blossom and TV drama series Cruel Palace: War of Flowers. Meanwhile, Lee also debuted in the same year but appeared on screen only with minor roles such as in the 2014 film The Night Watchman's Journal. His big break came after he starred the drama series with the actress last year.
